What size axle do I need?
The axle spline size you require is dependant on your engine's torque. To select an axle for your performance setup, first calculate your transmitted torque:
Transmitted Torque = Maximum Vehicle Torque x First Gear Ratio x Rear End Gear Ratio x 90%
Then, using the chart below, select the smallest axle that just exceeds the transmitted torque of your vehicle:
